Dear all,

after several nights I got vlc now working so far that I can access an usb connected webcam with the vlc player itself.

What I am missing is the right output settings to import that stream to the zoneminder server itself.

Does anyone of you have output settings for me how to stream from vlc to zoneminder. I have looked through the forum and google but have not found any useable hints which will work.

Dear all,

right now I get vlc working but the stream in Zoneminder freezes - it seems to be only one image will be shown if I open the monitor itself.

The options for the output in vlc is:
#transcode{vcodec=MJPG,venc=ffmpeg{strict=1}}:standard{access=http{mime=image/jpeg},mux=mpjpeg,dst=:8080/stream.mjpg}

Do anyone have any hint to solve this ?
