Hello All,

I am new to ZM and trying to setup zones for one camera. The default zones dont seem to catch anything. IE I can walk up and down the sidewalk and not get any alarms ( see attached ) can someone provide some advise on setting the zone for this image. Is it that the camera is set back away? I tried alarm pixels but any time you get any sort of color change it alarms. any help would be great.

When you added a new monitor what was the function you chose? If it is the default "Monitor" there is no recording done and you would need to change it to Mocord.

Take a look at the Functions section:

Yes I have mine setup for modect, but with the default blob settings it will not alarm on any movement down the sidewalk, see image link. do i need to make the zone smaller , use a smaller percentage, it will alarm if i walk right to it and grab for the camera, but we want alarms for any one walking in front of the house.
