Multiple capture cards not detected

Post by maverick25ss »

I am running ZM Live CD v1.22.2 installed to hdd and have been using one 4ch capture card for a few months without any problems. I recently put a another 4ch capture card in to expand and it doesnt look like it is being detected. In /dev i have /video and /video0 which i was using before and i figured there would be a /video1 atleast. Both cards are generic cards with conextant chips and both work fine as /video0 when used alone. Am i missing something?

This address could help you identify it.

Look in log/messages to see if linux is detecting the card when you boot.
If you've previously done an 'options bttv card=77' or something then try making the card=77,77
