Video Analytics in ZoneMinder

Hello everyone,
I am working on Video analytics from last 6 months. I am confused how ZoneMinder do the video analytics i.e. Motion Detection etc. Does ZoneMinder have its own Video Processing libraries?? If Yes where can I find the list of Video Processing functions and in which language they are written.
I am using some open source Video processing libraries for video analytics which are written in C. Can I integrate those libraries with ZoneMinder to build my own analytics i.e. vehichle couinting etc??
My second question is Can we use ZoneMinder with low end cellphones. Everywhere I have found windows mobile discussion with ZoneMinder but I didnt find anything where anyone have used ZoneMinder with low end Nokia phones. Please guide me over this.
