I have installed the nv3000, and it works on all 4 inputs with xawtv on Ubuntu. I simply installed the version that was in the repository for Ubuntu and the card worked. However with xawtv the video source is labeled as Television, Composite1, S-Video, and Composite3. I need to know what Video Source to use, but have tried every combination that I can think of and it does not work in ZM. I do get a change from Red to Yellow/orange print in the ZM Console, I assume that means that at least I am on the right track. At present I am using /dev/video0 (1).

Is there a way that I can confirm what xawtv is seeing and the actual video source instead of the names that have been assigned? or do you think this would help and am I going in the right direction? Any help and comments would be appreciated, I am a new ZM user so please keep it detailed.

Update: I have made a few changes to reference image blend 99 and Capture palette to YUV420P AND DEVICE FORMAT TO AUTO and have gotten stills from the camera, the stills are clear good pictures so the source is correct but what could be keeping it from streaming video?

Maybe set it to record and see whether the "Source" column turns green and you start seeing jpgs appearing in the events folder.

You should be testing it on a client PC not the server, and using Firefox not IE. I think you are almost there!

My setting are

channel 0
NTSC
YUYV (or YUV422P)
640x480

Have you checked OPT_Cambozola In Options/Images
Have you tried to update Cambozola?
How many cams ?

I am also having an issue. i can only get one of the inputs to work in Zoneminder. When I start adding monitors to the other inputs, the first input starts to go crazy...
