hi there,

i used this documentation http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... ZoneMinder to install ZoneMinder on a new opensuse 11.1 installation. the server is a Strato provider root system with plesk 9.2.

the installation finished with no errors. the installation take place in /svr/www/vhosts/mydomain/httpdocs/zm

owner of the directory and files are wwwrun

the zm.config is located in /usr/local/etc

after installation i tried to load the mainpage. but i only get an error "Could not open config file." after spending the last two days and trying to find a solution i have no more ideas whats the problem.

i tried also an rpm installation. but i got the same error message.

I assume you meant zm.conf and not zm.config?
It should also be owned by the owner of the web server - on suse wwwrun
