I am trying to install/test zmlarch on a machine which is connected to an LG plasma tv 32''.. unfortunately I can't read the icon/menus text information, and also to some extent not recognize the icons images... text and icons are not set appropriately to be displayed in the screen.

is there a way for me to config the screen resolution prior to the initialization of the desktop environment... any suggestions are welcomed.. I am thinking of prior to entering the desktop environment, since even locating and doing stuff in the terminal is difficult to read/view..
