Error, username and password or auth string must be supplied

Hi,
When I try to manually start the ZM service from the command line I get the following error,
[root@zmsystem]# /sbin/service zm status
httpd (pid 2483) is running...
mysqld (pid 2387) is running...
ZoneMinder is running
Error, username and password or auth string must be supplied
Zoneminder appears to be running perfect but I've never seen this error before when starting or stopping zm,
I have recently change the system from running with a GUI "level 5" to now only running with the CLI "level 3".
System Specs:
Zoneminder 1.24.2
CentOS 5
All fully installed as per the wiki guide with the exception of I wanted the GUI initially.
Anyone got a suggestions where this error is coming from and if it will be a problem and possible solutions.
