Hello again all i have a system setup with one camera and it was on modect. I left it alone for a couple of months, and now it has over 300000 events, but they are all null with 0 frames and last 0 secs.

Also i have tried several times to delete them using webinterface as well as tring to delete the camera so i can add it again hoping to fix things. However i cannot seem to delete events or cameras!! is it permissions?

Anyways i have used sshd and gone in deleting all the files in the events folder, and still cannot seem to rid myself of these null events as they still appear in the GUI.

Watching the message log i just seen this go by

ok find your php.ini and change the max memory setting

run "find / -name php.ini" to find it .

I solved things for now by running a repair on the database there were some broken tables as the users keep unplugging the machine. However i will visit the memory suggestion too!
