(Solved)7.10 to 9.04 upgrade /etc/modprobe.d/options-No File

Post by andrew »

Just up graded a working 1.23.2(7.10) version to Peter Howards 1.24.2 (9.04) and I seem to have lost the /etc/modprobe.d/options file to insert my bttv card figures, do I just create a file 'options'. As when I upgraded ubuntu it warned me that this file would be over written and I opted to edit the file after upgrade.
As at present ZM can only see on camera on a 16 camera card (pv-155).

To answer my own question:
Save a new file /etc/modprobe.d/options -

#bttv card settings
options bttv card =77,77,77,77

also using the pv155 card uncheck V4L_MULTI_BUFFER in config.
