Huge bug when reconfiguring TimeZone Broke system authentica

I discovered a BIG BUG. Iam using Ubuntu 9.04 with Zm 1.23.3, I was trying to solve a time problem changing NTP server and time zones. So everything was working really good until I run this simple line that comes with lots of howtos on the inet to re-set a new Timezone:

dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

That line broke something in connection with que authentication of the Apache2 server (the log of apache2 said lots of times "Authentication user failed") So I have a clue, a point to start to find out what was bad during que TimeZone update.

First I disabled the authentication option in zm and IT STARTED TO WORK AGAIN!!!!!

But I could t leave the apache without authentication so after doing some tests,I discovered that if I set the ZM_AUTH_RELAY Method to none, I could have the zm password protected and also view the cameras through the Cambozola Add-on.

My question is Why happened this???? Is very unsafe to leave this authentication option to none????

Thanks a lot
