error 403 when adding monitor

I'm using fedora. i can view the main ZM webpage, but when I try to add a monitor, i get:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /zm/index.php on this server.
Server at 127.0.0.1 Port 80

in access log i see:

127.0.0.1 - - [16/Feb/2010:19:14:47 -0500] "POST /zm/index.php HTTP/1.1" 403 268 "http://127.0.0.1/zm/?view=monitor" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100121 Remi/fc12 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)"

Oh did you setup zoneminder from a package or sourse.

I once got that error, from source on Fedora 12, new install, had to do it all over again...

Yeah I would recomend reinstall as it should be all setup.

just uninstalled and reinstalled from fedora12 rpm....same problem

I can view the main page, and i can click on "add new monitor", but when i click save, or switch to a new tab, i get:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /zm/index.php on this server.

When I said
had to do it all over again...
meant, the whole server, from scratch...
