So far it's rock solid.
in zm
resolution 320x240
remote host path /video.cgi?a=.mjpg
config'ed DLink DCS920 -hardware v. A1, firmware 1.03
disable User Access Control
select java View Mode
Logitech DCS-920 wireless IP cam
I also have a DCS-920 (mostly) working with ZM 1.24.2 on Ubuntu.
I am running firmware 1.04 on the camera.
I had to disable User Access Control on the camera entirely to make it work.
I'm using a 640x480 image, and accessing it (at approx 6-7 FPS over wifi) using "/video.cgi?" as the Remote Host Path.
However, I have been completely unable to get the system working with a username and password. (I.e. not disabling User Access Control.) It appears that a simple username:password@hostip in the "host" box just does not work.
This appears to be a problem with the camera, as when I navigate a browser to <ipaddress>/video.cgi? without first logging in, it does not ask for a username/password. (It only asks for the username/password at the root URL.)
I have read elsewhere that if you set it to use the java applet, then go and log in via a browser, the /video.cgi will work until the camera is re-set, but why bother with that? I really want the camera to validate ZM using the username/password in the URL....if anybody figures out how to make this work, please let me know.
