I've just got an Edimax IC-3010 and it is working and I can access http://192.168.2.3/snapshot.jpg from the network without authentication.
For the ZM monitor i have set it as Remove with 1FPS, HTTP protocol, simple, host name 192.168.2.3, port 80, remote host path /snapshot.jpt and the dimensions to 640x480. Everything else is left as default. Zoneminder will not display the camera (just the usual broken image icon in place).
I do not understand why it isn't working because I have tested ZM using an online webcam which has worked for a few days without hitch.
I've setup guest access at http://entr.co.uk/zoneminder with guest/guest if that helps.
Thanks, Matt.

Yea that part sucks. My IC-3010 cams are blind at night. The camera is not much use in low light though, thought it would cope better seeing as theirs a street-light outside the house.
Have you tried buying standalone IR illuminators and projecting it to the cam's view?
I'm not sure if that works but I'm contemplating on trying it.
Just tried shining an LED torch (not sure if it has and IR coming from it or not) towards the camera and I did notice a bit of improvement in the picture, more definition in the cars and i could see the edges of the road.
Does anybody know if something like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UK-Infrared-48LED ... 455wt_1165 would work well?
