Hello,

We currently have a Chubb system using Netvision (aka Pico) software. The cards are the 4 port PCI cards and we are using 3 of them with 12 camera's currently

The setup I want to use zoneminder for has a lot of movement so are there limits to the amount of events ZM will allow before it pukes and dies.

Also right now the Chubb software allows 640x480 recording and I was wondering what server specs one should use in ZM for 12 cameras about 5fps running 640x480.

I was thinking a quad AMD 64 Bit processor but I was unsure of the ram requirements.

You should be fine with that. I have 8 cctv inputs at 3 fps and there running record + detect motion. Useing 50% of a amd seperon 3000+. (First Consumer 64bit AMD)

Also depending your other dvr pci cards might be reusable depending on the chip in them.

I am useing the ZMarch cd I highly recommend.
