I'm attempting to use ZoneMinder 1.24.1 with Ubuntu 9.10.
My Intel Create & Share works for XawTV and can be added as a monitor thusly;
Function = MoDect
Source = /dev/video0
Pixel = 352x288
Format = NTSC
Palette = YUYV
ZM displays Function and Source in green (satisfied) text.
Selecting the monitor opens a new window which displays a black screen with VCR-like controls.
State: Idle - 0.00 fps
Mode: Live
Zoom -10255180.8x (Blind as a bat?)
Settings for Brightness, Contrast, Hue & Saturation are all -1.
Attempts to alter them as recommended in FAQ fail.
http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... _camera.3F
The -1 setting is persistent.
/var/log/messages gives me this, in triplicate!

How can I alter Settings and the Zoom?
