desktop rotation 1,2,3,4,

im shure this is just a setting problem
when i move mouse to top of screen the desktop changes in one direction
when i move mouse to bottom of screen it changes in other direction
i would like to disable this feature but i dont know where to find it or even what to call it

Bingo, you are changing desk tops when this occurs. Ross' CD's usually have 4 enabled and this can be reduced to one via MCC or whatever control panel for the distribution your using.

dont see anything in mandrake system
is there something in ect/????????.conf to disable
i sudo kate to open editor and use file open to have root power
and lets me save

there is no gui for desktop settings iv looked everyware

i wnt to keep vdsktop i just want to disable the part that the mouse hitting top or bottom of screen
when i move mouse to top of screen the desktop changes in one direction
when i move mouse to bottom of screen it changes in other direction
so if i bump mouse to top or bottom the dsktop it dosent rotate wildly
when i look over at securty comp i want to be shur i see montage

FROM ZM AFTER BOOTED UP
/Home/guest/.icewm/preferences
open in text editor about half way down the page you will find
verticaledgeswitch=1 # 0 / 1
change to :
verticaledgeswitch=0 # 0 / 1
save and reboot
