I'm using 4 cameras with a 4ch BT848 dvr card. When using the 4 cams at the same time each one is using about 6fps and the image has a lot of distortion But if only two are used and 15fps set as maximum everything look good. My question is Do I should buy another identical card and hook two cameras per card or buy a card with more fps capacity? I found a card advertised as 4CH 60fps on ebay. The chip set is techwell.

you should buy a card with one chip one channel... the kodicom 8800 clone is not that expensive, 8 channels 8 chips...
