[RESOLVED] No image in my ZM ...

Hello Evrybody, :D

I try to install my firt ZoneMinder server and i have some troubles.

First, here is a summury of my configuration :

- Intel Dual Core 2,8Ghz
- 8 Channel 240 FPS Zoneminder Compatible Capture Card using the Connexant 878A Chip (available on this website : http://www.camsecure.co.uk/Zoneminder.html).
- Analogic Samsung SCC 5366 camera
- Xubuntu 9.10 32bits
- Zoneminder from apt-get (Version: 1.24.1-1ubuntu2)
This is my /etc/modprobe.d/bttv.conf :

I tested my camera with "Cheese" software, it works on /dev/video2 device ! :-)

I'm no expert, but I did notice you didn't set the Device Format or Capture Palette, etc...

Hi, i'm using the same card (Kodicom 8800 clone)
You can see the settings i use here:
http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.php/Kodicom_8800

And for the cameras, i use Video for Linux Version 1, with Palette set to RGB24 (or BGR24) and format to PAL or NTSC depending on your cameras.

With this bttv.conf my 8 "/dev/video" is now snapshot detect (before this change it takes 5 minutes after each reboot), great ! :wink:

I have find my trouble, these commands fix it ! :D
