Can Zoneminder handle
9 Axis209MFD megapixel cameras? 1280x1024 is their native resolution! They output mjpeg and mpeg4.
http://www.axis.com/files/datasheet/ds_ ... 912_lo.pdf
My zoneminder machine will be a dedicated Apple Mac Pro "server" with 2 quad core 2.0 ghz cpu.
This machine has an excellent ATI radeon 4XXX series HD video card.
Just wondering before I install Zoneminder if there is any special things I should do in the ZM configuration so that it can perform in HD with that many megapixel cameras.

Ugh, maybe but it wouldn't be pretty.

Version 2 of our Linux (Ubuntu) software will be able to handle this without any problems, but it's not scheduled for release until late June / July.
Exacq has a Ubuntu version, but their licenses are $150 per channel. Milestone / OnSSI are the same (OnSSI OEM's Milestone) and are Windows only. Luxriot is Windows and will support the cameras also.
