Good quality PIC-E Capture Card

Post by beerygaz »

I've been running ZM for a while now and recently had a PC hardware failure. I now have an HP160-G6 server dedicated to the DVR task.

However, this means I now need a PCI Express capture card with a minumum of 8 channels. Can anyone recommend a good quality, reliable card that will capture 240fps? The neares I've come is the one over at bluecherry - a 120fps PIC-E card.

I'd like to capture at the higest resolution possible, and with it being in a 1U server, it needs to be a decent quality card that's not going to overheat.

I looked at a card with a CX25853 chipset, but I can't find any driver support for it, so that's out.

So ZM community, can you please help me find the right card for my new server?

I just picked up a CX25853 to play with, no luck so far. :(
