How to "join" events?

Hello,
my single camera setup (Modect mode) iis running well but producing many events of a few seconds length for continous movements. How can I configure to get one long event instead of many short ones?
My config is as follows:
- max FPS = 10, alarm max FPS = 10
- image buffer size = 50, pre event count = 20, post event count = 30, alarm frame count = 1
