Hello everyone I have a problem here which I hope can help me with, I have Ubunutu 10.04 desktop, I Installed ZoneMinder following instructions given in this guide http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index.ph ... 10_Desktop was fine without any errors I did everything to the point 3.5 (Install Cambozola) included, I have the ip8330 and ip8332 Vivotek cameras I can run either, I show them images of how this set ZoneMinder.

Probably nothing. Did you reboot after setting shared memory? Continue with the installation instructions the next sections check your installation and will give you clues as to why no video.

hi, thanks for answering, the following installation has to do with graphics cards, I have no card and mysql changes, my connection is by ip, it's really needed the rest of the installation of graphics cards, sorry for the noob question

pd: i modify the Shared Memory Limits and still equal

Did you try to install cambozola, and switched to mpeg in streaming method and asf for format (images settings)?


You should also switch debug on with a least 5 in debug level, to see excatly what happens.

I change the format of video at the camera before it was H.264 and put it as jpeg now and if I put in my firefox this address http: \ \ 192.168.1.10 \ video.mjpg you can see the video image. =(

Ok, so how do you view your cam wihtout zm? Whats the direct url to the video feed?

Necesitas poner alguna contraseña o algo antes de ver la imagen? Podrias poner una captura de pantalla cuando entras en esa direccion? Trata de usar este sitio para guardar tu imagen y ponla escalada para q no ocupe toda la pagina. http://imgur.com/

Mmm puede que tu problema sea las medidas que pones para la imagen, en tus capturas se ve que pusiste 350x240, cuando la imagen que te da la camara es de 320x200, podrias tratar poniendo esas medidas y dejando todo lo demas como esta.

I also have Ubuntu 10.04 and the same problem, no video. Tha same blank page.

lo había intentado con muchas resoluciones ya que la cámara tiene desde 1280 para abajo y nada sucedió..

I had tried many resolutions as the camera is from 1280 down and nothing happened ..


I can not think what else to do...

I can see my camera with cheese, xawtv or any other video app except for this. Leonel, did upgrade from a previous Ubuntu system, and if so did your camera work back then?

Puedo ver mi cámara con queso, xawtv o cualquier aplicación de vídeo, excepto para ello. Leonel, se actualiza de un anterior sistema, Ubuntu, y si es así ¿su trabajo de cámara en aquel entonces?
