Passing username & password via URL?

Is it possible to log into ZoneMinder by passing the username and password in the URL? For example:
http://zoneminder/zm/index.php?username ... rd=letmein
When I do this it populates the username field, but not the password field and then there's the issue of submitting it. I guess I've seen this with some cgi scripts before, maybe a script could be added to ZoneMinder by someone with requisite skills?
