Well, I have been working on this for a while now. I installed ZM via apt-get, plus all the other apts mentioned in numerous tutorials. I have tried many combinations of device paths and channels to no avail. Right now I am wondering why the DVC101 is listed as an audio device with lsusb:
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 046d:089d Logitech, Inc. QuickCam E2500 series
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 2304:021a Pinnacle Systems, Inc. [hex] Dazzle DVC100 Audio Device
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Yes it has audio, but why isn't it listed as a video device?
Does anyone have this setup working? Any suggestions?
The Logitech cam won't work either....

Thanks, KINGOFKYA! It is very nice to know, I have been fighting a loosing battle with the DVC101.
I have the Logitech E2500 webcam. Same issues with that, no video. I just get the red letters for the source. Do you know if those cams compress also?
Thanks
