I have a USB camera running on Ubuntu 10.4 on a machine other than the ZM server. The computer with the camera is running motion. I can view the camera remotely from any PC on my network but I cant seem to find the right settings to get the camera to sync with ZM. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? I think all that I am missing is the Remote Host Path

I'm not familiar with motion, is it streaming or allowing connections? I believe ZM needs a stream it can process. Anyway you can establish a connection using a browser and right click, properties, and get what the browser is using as a path for a starting point. I haven't used wireshark for this purpose but it does provide detailed information. I have used VLC to set up the remote stream.
