Remote camera over 3g/UMTS connection

I'm currently testing a scenario, in which one of the camera's is located at a site without wired internet connection. There is no easy way to arrange wired connectivity. Therefore, I connected an Axis 215-PTZ to an Draytek router which establishes a 3G/UMTS connection.
When opening the stream in VLC media player, the stream is displayed quite well. However, I can't get ZM to display any video. Other camera's are fine. I reckon, the high latency is the culprit for ZM. Ping times are between 400 / 500 miliseconds.
Is there anyone who did this before, or are there any advanced settings which will make this work?
Thanks!
