I read Zoneminder tutorial And I saw the trigger option with which it can be trigger a camera through external trigger.
With all of this I started to read about Home Automation and how it can become a reality with linux.

Can any of you tell me what exactly should I do so through a motion detector to trigger the camera to record only the moment who something move?
What should I buy in order to succeed?
The above will be compatible with zoneminder?
