Problems with MS LifeCam Cinema
Posted: Mon Sep 06, 2010 4:49 pm
I have been going all over the place with some configs working, some not, so now I am back to the following:
1: CentOS 5.5, x64 system
2: Using rpm ffmpeg and ffmpeg-devel since this is the only combo that will build - using the svn source for ffmpeg will build ffmpeg, but not ZM
3: Following configure used.
./configure --with-webdir=/var/www/html/Content/Secure/ZoneMinder --with-cgidir=/var/www/cgi-bin ZM_DB_HOST=192.168.1.182 ZM_DB_NAME=ZoneMinder ZM_DB_USER=zmuser ZM_DB_PASS=zmpass --with-extralibs="-L/usr/lib64 -L/usr/lib64/mysql" --with-ffmpeg=/usr/local/include --with-libarch=lib64 --enable-mmap=yes PPFLAGS="-D__STDC_CONSTANT_MACROS
4: ZM startsm but I get these errors in logs:
09/06/2010 09:40:05.055552 zmdc[10209].INF ['zmc -d /dev/video' starting at 10/09/06 09:40:05, pid = 20710]
09/06/2010 09:40:05.135784 zmdc[10209].ERR ['zmc -d /dev/video' exited abnormally, exit status 6]
09/06/2010 09:41:27.009651 zmdc[10209].INF [Starting pending process, zmaudit.pl -c]
09/06/2010 09:41:27.012003 zmdc[10209].INF ['zmaudit.pl -c' starting at 10/09/06 09:41:27, pid = 22119]
09/06/2010 09:41:27.499177 zmdc[10209].ERR ['zmaudit.pl -c' exited abnormally, exit status 9]
5: TrendNet IP cam works, MS LC Cinema is "seen" and works in xawtz and zmu shows this:
zmu -d /dev/video0 -V1 --query -v
Video Device: /dev/video0

Previously the MS LC worked, now it does not. I also gave up on the LT QC Pro 4000 as it wont even work in xawtv
Any suggestions would be great
