I run Ubuntu 9.04 with ZoneMinder 1.24.2. I have 2 IP Axis cameras, with the following configuration:

Name: Camera 1
Function: Modect
Source type: Remote
Enable: yes tick

Protocol: HTTP
Method: Simple
Remote host name: admin:admin@192.168.1.2
Remote path: /axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi
width:640
height:480
Port: 80

and

Name: Camera 2
Function: Monitor
Source type: Remote
Enable: yes tick

Protocol: RTSP
Method: RTSP/RTP/HTTP
Remote host name: admin:admin@192.168.1.5
Remote path: /axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi
width:320
height:240
Port: 554

The function and the source of both cameras are shown in GREEN (which I suppose should mean they are set up correctly). However when I click the "Probe" button this message appears:

Unable to probe network cameras, status is '127''

Tried to search google for this status, but couldn't find any results.

BTW: I'm not quite sure what these colors mean: Green, Orange and Red.

Many thanks for any ideas.

Green - communicating normally.
Red - Can't contact device, or some other fatal error.
Amber - Half working. Can be the image size returned is wrong, colour not as given, can't save the image (disk full, permissions), mysql database being antsy or similar.
