Hi!
I want to record continuos a video signal( 4 x 720x576 @25fps).
The disk usage should be under 90%. The filter should delte only the oldest records! What filter settings i need?
Can anybody give me a tip ?

I have tried to use "purgewhenfull" with 90% but the machine cashes whe the disk usage is over 50%. I think this is because the event limitations of 32000?!

Please anybody help me to solve my problem!

open up terminal, do a df -i
this reflects the inode(s) usage for your filesystem...
if it is running out when hdd capacity is only 50% then you have a few options...
lemme know how goes and ill continue

I have solved the problem with the 50% crash, i have checked the box in options for deeper file system! The PurgeWhenFull Filter works with the 90% delete setting, but i think he will delete the complete events. I want to have that he deletes only events which space he need, but how?

The PurgeWhenFull is a filter that comes with ZM. Its not special or anything, you can make your own filter, save it under a name and set it to run in the background and it will do as you specify in the filter options.

Guten Tag Bumann.

Glad to hear you got past your one problem
Mastertheknife is right

Um sicherzustellen, dass wir einander verstehen ", Purgewhenfull" funktioniert wie folgt: you select the percentage eg 90% and in the "limit to first <...> events" eg 100

Make sure that the "Delete All Matches" are checked/ticked
Click on save, and also make sure "run in background" is checked

Wie dies funktioniert, wenn die Festplattenkapazität 90% erreicht, it will keep on deleting the oldest 100 events until disk capacity is below 90%...
However you will want to adapt the amount of events and percentage to your needs
