Creating one video file from a series of events

I have Zoneminder 123.3 with Suse 10.3.

I am trying to create one video file, (mpeg, mpg ect) from a series of events from one monitor.

For example August 10 from 11:10 PM to 11:50 PM.

If the "Create video for all matches:" from the Event filter is selected.
Then and then select all events from the ZM Events web page, a zip file is created with all the individual mpg files in separate folders.

I'm I wrong in thinking ZM will create one single video file?

After a long search in the forum, it appears that ZM won't create one video from many events.

What I have also discovered is, once the "Create video for all matches:" is used, it will not recreate new videos.

I had some video Mpgs that were corrupt from using this option, so I ran rm to remove them.

But the Create video for all matches: will not recreate the mpg files for that time frame.

Is there a way to create the files?
I am able to create them by using the Video command in the ZM - Event window?
