Adjusting sensitivity of Modect

Hi all,
I've been using Zoneminder 1.24 for a while now on Ubuntu 10.04 server and have it running very well.
I have 2 IP cams. One is set to Record and one is set to Modect.
I've only just started playing with Modect and have just set up one zone which is 100% of the room and I'm using the "Best, high sensitivity" preset which detects a person no problems but I would like it to detect what our cats are doing in the daytime when were out and its not quite sensitive for this yet.
I had a look at this thread: http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16515 which gave me some ideas but I'm still not that sure - Would it be better to go to alarmedpixels instead of blobs?
Basically the Modect preset "Best, high sensitivity" is almost perfect for me but i'd like to raise the sensitivity up until it a cat would trigger it. What would be the best way to go about this?
Thanks a lot in advance...
