I have generated a event both as mpg, mpeg, avi and all of them have worser quality compared to when i watch the event in ZM.

Any ideas why?

cause you didn't set it for ZM_FFMPEG_INPUT_OPTIONS = -sameq ?

ok seriously, goto > Options / Images / ZM_FFMPEG_INPUT_OPTIONS

and put -sameq in the box.

you'd be amazed at the difference
