openSuse11.3X64/KDE4.5.2/ZoneMinder, v1.24.2/Bus 006 Device 002: ID 046d:092f Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Express Plus

When I use the ZoneMinder LiveCD (downloaded today), my camera works fine, but when using my opensuse setup, everything SEEMS to work, but when I try and view video, where the video should be, I get an empty box with the monitor name in it... Have tried copying the source settings from the live cd, but this doesn't help. Camera works fine in XAWTV and zmu -d /dev/video0 -V1 -q -v gives:

The only other thing that I am a little bit dubious about (meaning: they're different, but I don't know enough to figure out why...) lsmod on the working live CD has:
gspca_spca561 9684 1
gspca_main 21684 2 gspca_spca561

but on the not working real pc is:
gspca_spca561 10987 0
gspca_main 30247 1 gspca_spca561

(being used by an extra process??)
