Hi everybody,

I'm new using zoneminder and i would like to have some informations about zoneminder 1.24.2 :

- Is it possible to encrypt transmission bitwin videocamera and zone minder server (in the case where server and cam are not in the same location) maybe use ssl ?

- Is the zoneminder server support H246 codec ?

- Is there a way to define media archieving duration (for exemple every records are delate after 7 days)

- Is it possible to add rule for web interface (for exemple admin have all right, titi have only camera view right) ?

yes it will suport ssl

yes but it will still record to jpegs

- Is there a way to define media archieving duration (for exemple every records are delate after 7 days)

yes but it is recomended to only do when the hard drive is filled not by some weekly e vent ( but it is trival to do if need be)

- Is it possible to add rule for web interface (for exemple admin have all right, titi have only camera view right) ?

yes you can assign users and permissions

I think the informations to create users, configure permissions and other parameters i mentionned are in the Zoneminder manual or is there any tutorial or thinks like that where those configurations are better explaned.

Is there any minimum hardware specifications ?

Did anyone try use zm server with atom processor ? If yes, how does the atom react in a 24H/24H production environnement ?
