Email to Phone Service

Hello all.

I've been playing with building an email to phone web service. The idea is that you could have ZoneMinder send an email alert to a specific address, and it would call/text a series of pre-configured telephone numbers, and play the text of the email, until a call is acknowledged. I have the basics in place, but I'd like to get a feel from the community here if a service like this is interesting before I spend the effort to commercialize it. I found the existing email to phone services too expensive for occasional home security alerts. I'm thinking this would be in the neighborhood of $10-$15/year and include 100 calls/texts. Please post your comments/criticisms of something like this.

Thanks!

I'm guessing the main 'service' you are providing is the calling feature since texting is relatively trivial (providing you can setup email, which is a requirement for your service)? Without knowing all the details, I think your price is in the right range, but it wouldn't take long to burn through 100 calls/texts I think. Especially when first setting up your system, narrowing down your triggers, false positives etc... just my 2 cents.
