I have 23 IP video cameras connect to zoneminder in modect mode. Everything worked fine until 2 of the video cameras exceeded 32000 events. These 2 video cameras, recorded only 0:00 seconds, this is all the time.
In the meantime let the 2 video cameras monitor mode and I've created as if it were different. This to keep recording, in this new session recorded well, but what happened to zoneminder not recorded more?.

I think is a filesystem limit.

Why does ZM stop recording once I have 32000 events for my monitor?

This is a limitation of the ext3 filesystem that most Linux distributions use. One directory cannot hold more than 32k approx files.
