Ive done this on a cable modem/router with another router setup and it worked fine. Heres the specs if someone could look over them that would be great...thanks

Cable modem/router

ip range 10.1.10.100 to .189
subnet 255.255.255.0

linksy with a normal cable(non crossover) going from lan to lan ports

ip 10.1.10.190
ip range .191-199
subnet 255.255.255.0
gateway 10.1.10.1

camera 1 (connected via wifi)
ip .198:2001

camera 2 (connected via wifi)

am I suppse to foward the camera ports to the second routers ip and than foward them to the cameras? I tried several methods to no avail

Do a screen shot of what you have setup on the router. Also what ports are the cameras running on 2001 or the defualt 80
