Storage deviate zoneminder

I have a 1 tb hard drive and want the content there I will store it as it would have to do? that route would have to put in zoneminder? as I get that hard drive is mounted before starting zoneminder? graciasss

To answer directly, yes, you can definitely use a dedicated hard drive. You can:

A: use symbolic links for the events, images, & sounds folders
B: change the paths in the web "Options/Paths" tab

Of course, follow the documentation for full details.

No - do not use symbolic links. At least with ubuntu and debian packages, as they will be removed during upgrade losing your entire database.
