How to compile ZM with IP Camera support only?

Hi,

I want to have ZM installations on devices like routers and support IP Cameras only.
Thus I don't want to install on the device anything for video support.
All I want is the ability to dump the data from camera and to have access to events streaming [everything using mjpeg].

Is this even possible using current ZM?
Is there something I could do to make it work?

@krystian - if your router runs a reasonably complete form of linux then zoneminder should work, but I imagine you'll run into problems with processor power. There's no need for a monitor or graphics card on a computer for zoneminder, I run several headless servers.
