I have enabled this,
switched zoneminder off and then on again.
Now is it enabled ?

It appears to be but disk Storage still shows 29%

How do I get rid of the old files ?

Also How do I limit the data saved ?

I want to purge data so the disk does not fill…

Go to filters, then enable the "PurgeWhenFull" filter to the disk percentage you want, then save it and check the run in background.
