Can I back date to 1.23 from 1.24?

1.24.2 doesnt support the bt878 controller I have been using for years with Zoneminder, I was considering reverting to 1.23 where it works perfectly? Can I go back to 1.23 without a fresh install or does someone have a suggestion on why my card which worked on all previous versions doesnt work now?

Card should work, without problems. Please post your source settings for monitor. If I remember correctly I had to switch palette to BGR24 from RGB24 after upgrade...
