Modifying Zoneminder Code

hello guys... Im new to Zoneminder and have to learn alot of things. My first question for this forum is
- how can I modify the code for Zoneminder's(1.24.2) web site?
When I go into the Web portion of Zoneminder, I am unable to find a file where I can make changes and add a button to this web site.I mean all the files are there but What file I have to look for? How can I do that? thnx
