Zoneminder install

Alright so i just bought the zoneminder pico2000 capture card and got zonminder all setup.
Problem is the sources are staying red and i can't get any video. I however can see the picture in xawtv.
UPDATE FOUND THIS IN THE VAR LOGS
May 20 18:11:58 tempe-Dimension-4700 zmc_dvideo0[2728]: FAT [Failed to open video devic e /dev/video0: Permission denied]
Permissions issue i am thinking, just no sure how to fix it...
Here's the output of the following command while i have 2 cameras connected. Any ideas on how to get this to work?
zmu -d /dev/video0 -q -v
