Control through webpage doesn't work

Hi All,

I have Foscam 8918W camera. I can control the camera through zmcontrol.pl without any issue. But when I go to the webpage by clicking the arrows. It never moved. I checked the zmcontrol.log. Nothing happened when I clicked the arrows. Usually I should see control server starting message like I manually issued the command.

I restarted httpd service and zm service but didn't help. Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks for the help!

I am working on the same exact funtion with the same exact cam! What version ZM are you running? I am currently using 1.24.2 and using these 2 references:

Thank you for the reply. I followed exact guides you listed here. I just found one weird thing: The control through the Monitor itself doesn't work. But if you click Montage first and then click the control link on the up right corner. That works perfect. If you click Monitor link and then click control, it just doesn't work.

Do you have this problem? I have 1.24.3 version with CentOS server 5.6. Maybe this is a new bug?

I cant get control either way! i get this error message:

Control response was status = undefined
message = /usr/bin/zmcontrol.pl --panspeed= --autostop --command=moveConLeft --id=2=> // Usage: zmcontrol.pl --id <monitor_id> --command=<command> <various options>

Maybe i missed a step in the config?
