ZoneMinder Forums

I just got to reading the discussion piece of ZoneMinder 2. I'm a new arrival to the ZoneMinder community, and I'm always curious about open source software and new things. I couldn't find much that gave details in regard to the ZM2 road map. Is ZM2 something that is just being talked about on the table, or is it in active development? Is there any thought process on when we could see ZM2?
