Vivotek IP7142 stream /video.mjpg not working / black screen

I have a basic configuration for a Vivotek 7142. There is no password on the Vivotek (because I'm testing).

The monitor screen is just black, no image. In source, the source is red.

I a browser it works perfectly, i.e. when I do WWW://192.168.0.253/video.mjpg I see the image and everything works perfectly. When I do the WWW command the window title is video.mjpg (720x480).

My parameters are:

First tab:

- Monitor
- Remote

Second tab:

Remote Protocol: HTTP
Remote Method: Simple
Remote Host Name: 192.168.0.253
Remote Host Port: 80
Remote Host Path: /video.mjpg

Remote Image Colours 8 bit greyscale
Capture Width (pixels): 720
Capture Height (pixels): 480

/etc/init.d/zoneminder status shows ZoneMinder running

What am I doing wrong that causes ZoneMinder to just see a black screen?

I think the problem is that ZM cannot read the MPEG-4 stream.
See if you can read the second MJPEG stream from the camera.

The path will be something like /image.jpg.

You may have to have a look at the source to get the path. Do this by right click on the webpage (outside the image) that is showing the image and select 'View Source.
