Montage not creating all the sockets

Hi, Just installed 1.24.4 on Centos 5.6 x64 and everything so far is working.
Note I haven't tested capture yet though!

I have a problem with montage. If I click on each monitor the feed displays correctly, however montage is seriiously broken.

I have got as far as finding that when I click on the montage view, not all the sockets are created in /tmp/zm as evidenced by the apache error.log:

[Tue Jun 28 18:34:42 2011] [error] [client 192.168.5.76] array (\n 0 => \n array (\n 'file' => '/var/www/html/zm/ajax/stream.php',\n 'line' => 55,\n 'function' => 'ajaxError',\n 'args' => \n array (\n 0 => 'socket_sendto( /tmp/zm/zms-640203s.sock ) failed: No such file or directory',\n ),\n ),\n 1 => \n array (\n 'file' => '/var/www/html/zm/index.php',\n 'line' => 119,\n 'args' => \n array (\n 0 => '/var/www/html/zm/ajax/stream.php',\n ),\n 'function' => 'require_once',\n ),\n), referer: http://192.168.5.125/zm/?view=montage&group=0

Only one or two maximum sockets are created.
I am seriously stuck, please, some kind soul could give me a pointer?

It is an IE browser issue. I did think it was server side but firefox works just as it should. Apologies for the wild goose chase.
