I have Zoneminder running with a Foscam network camera. The source is listed in orange. One source I found said it has to do with a ZMA process. I could find no relevant information on this process.

Also, when I go to create zones, there is no picture there to go by. The page source lists the picture as: images/Zones1.jpg?1309444415

Do I need to create this image somehow? In the /var/www/ directory there is no zm folder or a zm/images folder.

It would help if you included what system you have installed on and what process you used to install (from source, a package etc) etc (read the first post in this forum)

On the face of it based on what you have said, it may be a permissions issue and zoneminder has not been able to create the relevant files for you because it does not have the necessary write premissions.

Check your apache error logs.

My ZM install can be found through at /usr/share/zoneminder and this can be seen in the apache error logs when you check. I ended up giving full read / write access to the specific folders to get round a similar problem.

I am sure that this may be fowned upon in terms of security but it is a small home CCTV system that no one else accesses any way so for me it did not matter.
